WEEK THREE: Still here, painting!
Welcome Welcome! It’s Week 3 of the One Room Challenge™! For me, this week is the equivalent to the mini mid-life crisis in that I was in a weird limbo stage, that didn’t have as much movement. Which is totally fine and dandy, as we all need those in-between moments to get that momentum back! I’m still stuck on if this should be an office or a bedroom and it has me frozen in making big decisions!
If you missed out on the Jungle Vibe, here you go: Week 1, Week 2
COLOR DILEMMA
I have way too many greens and way too many whites/creams/tans, so I am trying to make decisions! I only purchased 2 new paints, so I am trying to re-use the colors I already have as they are all colors I super love!
TEXTURE TRAUMA:
Painting is taking longer than anyone ever expected. ha. I have very textured walls, pretty sure its orange peel, so painting and repainting and then cutting in has been time-consuming. I have had a few peeps over to help paint and it's just a thing that will take some time. Let’s accept this fate. The other thing we have to accept is some friends have a specialty in painting and some are better at making sure all the dogs are happy. And thats all okay. Cutting in isn’t a thing for everyone and we accept that.
BED OPTIONS?
I don’t even know if I should think about beds as I still don’t know what purpose this room will serve. But here we are. So we might as well see the 2 options:
I’LL BE HERE PAINTING..
I’ll still be here chilling and painting when the sun goes down and hanging out. If you need a new hobby or think painting is therapeutic, FINE, you can help me paint. ha. See you next week!
